Aldrin Elementary School is part of the Fairfax County Public School system and is located in Reston, Virginia. Named after Dr. Buzz Aldrin, one of the first men to walk on the moon, Aldrin opened its doors in September 1994, the year that Dr. Aldrin celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Apollo XI moon landing.
