Distribution of Flyers NonProfit Groups
ALDRIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
DISTRIBUTION OF COMMUNITY FLIERS FROM NON-PROFIT GROUPS 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR
Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) offers the opportunity for non-profit organizations to make their materials available to families. Each school principal has the option of how (and how frequently) they want to distribute to their individual school community.
During the 2022-2023 school year, there will be four (4) opportunities for community non-profit groups (related to children/families and education) to distribute fliers in the Aldrin “Thursday Recorders” (student book bags). The four dates are listed below.
Groups may also set up tables at the Aldrin Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 13, 2022

To ensure that schools remain neutral, do not appear to approve or disapprove of any particular religious or political viewpoint, and do not sponsor or endorse the classes or activities sponsored by any community organization, all non-governmental materials made available through the schools must include the following disclaimer:
“These materials are neither sponsored nor endorsed by the Fairfax County School Board, the Superintendent, or this school.”
If you would like to request a table for Back to School Night or have questions about flier distribution, please contact Lesley Aschenbach, the Aldrin Elementary Administrative Assistant at 703-904-3806 or @email
The non-profit group is responsible for bundling the fliers in the classroom groups before bringing them to the Aldrin Main Office. At the time of school opening, these are the numbers of groups: Twenty-three (23) groups of 25 and six (6) groups of 30. You can call to verify before bundling.
